Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position at a pediatric hospital in Newark, NJ, requiring 3+ years of PICU critical care experience and proficiency with vents, Medtronic pacemakers, and telemetry monitoring.Job Details• Work in a 19-bed PICU within a children's hospital setting,• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required,• Patient ratio of 1:2 or more,• May float to Pediatrics and NICU based on skill set and hospital needs,• Required equipment experience includes Medtronic pacemakers, telemetry monitoring, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomies,• Charting system: Epic (experience required),Job Requirements• Active NJ or Compact RN license required,• Current BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred,• Minimum 3 years of PICU critical care experience required,• At least 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred; both PICU and cardiac experience must be documented on the skills checklist,• Proficiency with Medtronic pacemakers, telemetry monitoring, BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, and trachs required,• Epic EMR experience required,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,• Two current professional references required,• Previous RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year to be eligible,Additional Information• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position,• Navy blue scrubs required,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate,
