In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor-delivering tailored solutions, driving long-term value, and helping our clients succeed while fueling the growth of our HVAC business. If you're passionate about industrial HVAC systems, thrive on building partnerships, and excel at creating win-win solutions, this is your chance to make a significant impact.What You'll DoLead with a Safety-First mindset across every task.Manage and grow long-term partnerships with key HVAC clients (focus on large retail accounts).Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring solutions are delivered seamlessly.Understand client technical needs for industrial HVAC and deliver customized solutions.Partner with engineering, service, finance, and product teams to drive customer success.Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to maximize revenue.Track KPIs, monitor account performance, and report updates to internal stakeholders.Spot opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and service expansion.Resolve client issues quickly and professionally, escalating when needed.Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and HVAC innovations.Collaborate with other Riverbend Industries HVAC teams to cross-sell products and support shared customers.What You BringBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field.5+ years in key account management, preferably in the industrial furnace or thermal processing space.Strong understanding of HVAC systems and applications.Communication, negotiation, and presentation expertise; CRM and MS Office proficiency.Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and site visits.Skills & CharacteristicsExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAnalytical thinker with problem-solving mindsetProactive, customer-first, and solution-drivenHighly skilled in sales strategy, training, and presentationsPreferred AttributesExperience working with OEMs, large retailers, and aftermarket HVAC providersKnowledge of ISO, OSHA, and compliance standardsProven ability to manage complex projects & multi-stakeholder relationshipsStrategic mindset with a focus on long-term client success
