Orientation Specialist Job Category: Human Resources Requisition Number: ORIEN001146 Posted: March 4, 2026 Full-Time On-site Fort Atkinson, WI 53538, USA Description A New Employee Orientation Specialist facilitates the onboarding process, introduces new hires to company culture, policies, and systems, and ensures a welcoming, compliant experience from acceptance through the first few weeks. They coordinate logistics, prepare materials, and serve as the main point of contact for new employees, focusing on fostering engagement and reducing turnover. Core Responsibilities Facilitation: Schedule and conduct orientation sessions, company tours, and presentations (in-person or virtual). Administration: Manage pre-employment paperwork, background checks, system access, and benefits enrollment. Coordination: Collaborate with IT and department managers to prepare equipment, workstations, and training schedules. Experience & Support: Serve as the primary contact for new hire questions, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, and providing ongoing support. Process Improvement: Monitor, evaluate, and update orientation materials and procedures to enhance the employee experience. Key Qualifications Experience: 13+ years in human resources, onboarding, or training roles. Skills: Strong communication (both oral & written), presentation, interpersonal skills, and high attention to detail. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly desired. Technology: Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (ATS), Teams, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
