Quality Associate
Position Overview:
Woehner, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Associate to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our products meet customer expectations and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement.
The Quality Associate will perform inspections throughout the production process, conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs), assist with maintaining our ISO 9001 Quality Management System, investigate quality concerns, and work closely with multiple departments to help maintain the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) and prepare required documentation.
Assist in maintaining compliance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Review product specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure compliance.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Investigate nonconforming products and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Support internal and external quality audits.
Monitor measuring and inspection equipment to ensure proper calibration and use.
Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve quality-related issues.
Recommend process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role preferred.
Experience with First Article Inspections (FAIs) preferred.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training is a plus.
