Job Description ABCO LABORATORIESLab Technician (R&D Support)SummaryABCO Laboratories is a contract manufacturing business that partners with customers to develop and produce food seasonings, spices, and dietary supplements.We are seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to support R&D activities by executing lab work, maintaining organization, and ensuring efficient day-to-day lab operations. This role is focused on accurate execution, sample management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and functional lab environment.Key Responsibilities· Prepare lab samples according to detailed instructions (weighing, mixing, batching)· Accurately label, log, and store all samples and raw materials· Maintain organized inventory of raw materials and lab supplies· Request and coordinate raw materials samples· Clean and maintain lab equipment and workspace to ensure readiness for use· Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records of all lab activities· Support multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on urgency· Follow established procedures and instructions with high attention to detail· Assist with lab setup and breakdown for experimentsRequirements· BS in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition, or related field preferred but not required· 1–3 years of experience in a lab, manufacturing, or similar hands-on environment· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions exactly· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)· Comfortable performing routine, repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracyIdeal Candidate Profile· Highly organized and structured in their work· Executes tasks quickly and accurately· Takes ownership of keeping the lab organized and running efficiently· Able to work independently once trained· Proactive in identifying what needs to be done next· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-focused environmentScheduleMonday – FridayPay RateSalary commensurate with experienceCompany DescriptionABCO Laboratories is a contract manufacturing business that works with customers to make and develop a variety of food seasonings, spices and dietary supplements.Company DescriptionABCO Laboratories is a contract manufacturing business that works with customers to make and develop a variety of food seasonings, spices and dietary supplements.
