Water Mitigation Technician
Summit Reconstruction is a rapidly growing construction company with a focus on exterior envelope rehabilitation projects. Our company is a leader in apartment and condominium rehabilitation, with many of the largest management companies in Portland/Vancouver area.
We are currently hiring for a Lead Water Mitigation and Mold Remediation Technician. We are actively seeking a self-motivated, responsible and detail-oriented individual to join our team within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area. Responsibilities:
Inspect, evaluate, and document damaged properties.
Proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
Professionally represent Summit Reconstruction and our core values.
Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are completed in a timely manner.
Strong demo, framing, siding, and roofing skills are needed along with drywall installation and finish carpentry.
Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Comfortable leading a team of water technicians and working closely with Project Coordinator.
Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained at all times.
Communicate with customers and ensure high customer service at all times. Ability to communicate effectively with your supervisor and peers as well.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Available to be on call 7 days per month (commissioned).
Other duties as required.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE, which must include a background in a combination of the following: fire damage, water damage, mold remediation, structural drying, and other types of remediation services. Having your certifications (WRT) is a plus!
Qualifications:
Construction experience in the following areas: Siding and trim replacement, Mold remediation, Window & door installation, Decks, Framing, Roofing, Basic finish carpentry, Working knowledge of building codes and standards.
Motivated, responsible, customer service driven.
A "Can Do" attitude!
Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 100lbs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Computer savvy.
Completing of technical or trade school courses in construction, water or fire mitigation, or related field a plus.
Must be able to pass a drug screen & criminal background check.
