Morgantown is a vibrant college town with scenic views along the Monongahela River and easy access to outdoor recreation in the Appalachian foothills.Job DetailsLocation: Morgantown, WV 26506 — West Virginia cath lab jobs / travel healthcare job Assignment Length: 13 weeks Setting: Acute Care – Cardiac Cath Lab & Electrophysiology (EP) Suite Role: Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiac Technologist / EP Technologist Shifts: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Call & Holiday Coverage: Required (on-call response time: 30 minutes) Start Date: March 11, 2026 Average Volume: 3 labs, average 15–18 cases/day (cardiac & EP cases) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2300–$2470/weekJob RequirementsMinimum 1 year of recent hands-on experience in a cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab, including EP procedures Current BLS and ACLS certifications Valid West Virginia Radiologic Technologist (WVRT) license ARRT certification accepted: (R), (CI), or (VI) Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, electrophysiology mapping and ablation (PVC, PT, cryo, transeptal), laser lead extractions, and device procedures Proven ability to scrub, circulate, document, and assist physicians with EP and interventional cardiology procedures Familiarity with EP recording systems and hospital systems such as EPIC, Toshiba imaging, Carto, and Abbott platforms Strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to sterile/OR protocolsResponsibilitiesScrub, circulate, and document cardiac cath and electrophysiology (EP) cases, maintaining accurate procedural records Assist physicians with EP procedures, device implants, lead extractions, and complex interventional cases Operate and monitor EP recording systems and cath lab imaging equipment (Toshiba, Carto, Abbott) Stock and maintain supply rooms, ensure equipment readiness, and troubleshoot devices during cases Work exclusively in the Cath Lab and EP suites across 3 labs with high case volume (15–18 cases/day) Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled (30-minute response time) Adhere to department policies, radiation safety, and maintain a high standard of patient care and infection control Wear provided OR scrubs and follow all facility dress code requirementsWhy this travel cath lab job?
