We’d love for you to join our team!Job SummaryThe Senior Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for complex Government and DoD programs supporting mission objectives and organizational priorities. This role is responsible for managing program execution, coordinating resources, overseeing schedules and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery of program objectives across multiple projects or task areas.The ideal candidate possesses strong program management experience within federal or defense environments, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and experience supporting senior leadership in high-visibility operational settings.ResponsibilitiesManage the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale programs and projectsSupport development of program objectives, schedules, and strategic prioritiesOversee day-to-day program operations, resource allocation, and task management activitiesMonitor technical milestones, budgets, schedules, and overall program performanceCoordinate with Government leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to support mission objectivesIdentify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve operational challengesPrepare and deliver program status updates, reports, and executive briefingsSupport technical planning, requirements management, and program integration activitiesEnsure program deliverables are completed within approved scope, schedule, and budget constraintsAssist with contract management, staffing coordination, and operational planningOversee subordinate project leads and support personnel as requiredMaintain effective communication and collaboration across program teams and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with contractual requirements, organizational policies, and management proceduresEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience managing programs or projects within Government or DoD environmentsSupervisory or team leadership experienceExperience supporting and communicating with SES and Flag-level personnelDemonstrated ability to manage contract support efforts efficiently and cost-effectivelyExperience overseeing schedules, budgets, staffing, and program execution activitiesBackground supporting complex operational, technical, or organizational initiativesExperience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple project activitiesRequired SkillsProgram and project management expertiseOrganizational leadership and coordination skillsBudget tracking and resource management experienceRisk management and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlinesStakeholder engagement and team collaboration experienceAnalytical thinking and decision-making abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management toolsAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility environmentsCertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification requiredSecurity ClearanceActive Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain eligibility throughout employment requiredMore About B&A:Notable ClientsB&A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
