Deck Builder

*Overview* Join our dynamic construction team as a Deck Builder and bring outdoor living visions to life! In this role, you will be responsible for constructing durable, high-quality decks that enhance our clients’ outdoor spaces. Your expertise in carpentry, basic concrete work, and finishing will ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. We’re looking for motivated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about craftsmanship and attention to detail. *Duties* * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute deck designs. * Prepare concrete forms, pour concrete, and perform finishing tasks to create stable foundations for decks. * Install rebar reinforcement within concrete slabs to ensure structural integrity. * Construct framing using woodworking, trim carpentry, and siding skills; install decking materials with hand tools and power tools. * Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, lifting heavy materials, or moving large structural components. * Apply roofing techniques when necessary to ensure weatherproofing of deck structures. * Read schematics accurately to guide installation processes; adapt plans as needed based on site conditions. * Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols at all times. *Experience* * Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on deck building or related carpentry projects. * Skilled in, concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing. * Familiarity with masonry, roofing, siding, and restoration work is highly desirable. * Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery operation. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. * Strong knowledge of construction management principles and safety standards on active job sites. * Experience with framing carpentry including woodworking, trim carpentry, and remodeling projects is a plus.
