eCommerce Platform Delivery Manager

ROLE SUMMARY: Provide leadership, coordination, and accountability across BJU Press’s Microsoft-based enterprise platforms—including eCommerce and marketing technology platforms, ERP (Microsoft Finance & Supply Chain), and related business systems. Serve as the central delivery and problem-resolution leader, ensuring that work is properly vetted, prioritized, approved, and executed. This role will translate strategy into disciplined execution—balancing operational stability with ongoing digital transformation. This role provides leadership across internal teams, contractors, and external partners and may directly supervise employees as the function evolves. It establishes delivery standards, enforces governance discipline, and serves as an escalation point for complex, high-impact issues.About Bju Press & The RoleVision: We want Christian education to be transformational in the lives of students as they grow in their faith and knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ.Mission: We produce transformational products and services for Christian educators.Brand Promise: We empower educators to prepare students to live in light of eternity.About the Team: The purpose of the Marketing team is to promote BJU Press K-12 educational materials with a biblical worldview for Christian schools and homeschools.Our Core functions are: To produce deliverables to promote sales of BJU Press education materials and platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn intake, triage, and prioritization of platform requests; determine urgency, business impact, and appropriate path forward (defect, enhancement, process change, or training)Ensure work does not begin without appropriate documentation, prioritization, and approval; enforce scope, hours, and change-control disciplineEvaluate solution options before development begins, including standard configuration, integration, process adjustment, or training versus custom developmentServe as the primary point of coordination across business teams, internal IT, and external partners (e.g., RSM, MAS, Microsoft)Lead delivery of approved initiatives across eCommerce, marketing platforms, ERP, and integrated business systemsManage dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks; proactively resolve issues that delay progress or threaten outcomesOversee testing, release readiness, go-live coordination, and post-launch stabilization for platform changesProvide clear status reporting and executive-level updates on delivery health, risks, timelines, and scopeSkills And Attributes Needed To Succeed In This RoleStrong delivery and project management skills with the ability to lead work across multiple teams and stakeholdersWorking understanding of Microsoft-based enterprise platforms, including ERP, eCommerce, marketing systems, integrations, and data flowsAbility to diagnose issues at a systems level and drive root-cause resolution rather than surface fixesClear, confident communicator able to facilitate meetings, document decisions, and drive closureHigh degree of ownership, judgment, and follow-throughAn applicant for a position in the Bob Jones University group — Bob Jones University, Bob Jones Academy or BJU Press — must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
