Role SummaryAt NECI, Account Executives help industrial organizations design, implement, and optimize mission-critical automation and process control systems. This role is suited for a motivated seller with process control industry experience who enjoys working alongside engineers and selling technically complex solutions that directly impact safety, reliability, and operational performance. Key ResponsibilitiesProspect, engage, and win new customers within a defined territoryCollaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and service teams to design and position customer-centric solutionsBuild trusted relationships with operations, engineering, IT, and business stakeholdersDrive opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from discovery through closeMaintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and opportunity management in SalesforceDeliver high-quality customer interactions including presentations, solution positioning, and proposal developmentTravel regionally (up to approximately 50%) to support customer engagement Measures of Success:Consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targetsBuilding a healthy pipeline of greenfield opportunities within the process industriesDemonstrating growing technical and commercial fluency in assigned solutionsEarning trust as a reliable, knowledgeable, and collaborative sales partner QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university3-5 years of sales experience within the process control, industrial automation, or related industrial technology industryProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotasExperience supporting or closing complex, solution-based sales cyclesAbility to proactively prospect and develop greenfield new businessConfidence engaging customers at multiple levels of the organizationStrong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working effectively in a collaborative, team-based environmentWorking knowledge of CRM tools; Salesforce experience preferred Why NECISell high-impact automation and process control solutions that power critical industrial operationsPartner closely with engineers and technical experts throughout the sales processDevelop deep industry and technical credibility early in your sales careerClear growth path into senior sales and account leadership rolesCompetitive compensation, benefits, and performance-based incentives Here's What You'll Get Highly competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending or Health Savings AccountsUnlimited Vacation Time10 Paid Holidays12 Paid Weeks Maternity LeavePet InsuranceRetirement Savings: 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership PlanEmployee Referral BonusProfessional Development ReimbursementCompany Paid STD, LTD, and Life Insurance Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
