Senior Manager, WSL One Ocean

The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the WSL Marketing and WSL Sustainability teams reporting to the Executive Director, WSL PURE and Marketing Team. This role will be responsible for the execution of WSL One Ocean projects across all functions of the business including, carbon accounting and emission tracking, event sustainability, grant management, partner research and vetting, award submissions, and sourcing stories and producing content across multiple digital platforms. This role will also act as a relationship manager for WSL One Ocean partners. WSL PURE is a non-profit grant making body on a mission to inspire, educate and empower the global surf community to engage deeply to protect our ocean. WSL One Ocean is the joint initiative through which WSL PURE and WSL One Ocean protect and promote ocean conservation. This role will require 3 days in office at the Los Angeles HQ.Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)Manage multiple projects within WSL One Ocean, while working cross departmentally with WSL team membersResearch and execution of Sustainability programs and guidelines across WSL Assist in the implementation of WSL One Ocean programs, ensuring they help carry out the organization’s missionProduce and manage content across multiple digital platforms, including social media.Work closely with our partners being the point of contact for all potential needs, ensuring maintenance of these relationshipsPartnering on core environmental strategies, and program implementationAdditional Marketing and Communication duties as neededQualifications5+ years of experience in marketing roles with general industry experience; knowledge of environmental and ocean climate related issues, and a track record of successfully implementing sustainability strategies is a benefit.
