ResponsibilitiesLead the SESS operating model across GFT, including intake, prioritization, capacity planning, demand visibility, delivery forecasting, and service governanceDrive delivery excellence through quality improvements, release management, automated testing, CI/CD adoption, and resilience initiativesSet engineering standards, guardrails, and reusable practices across delivery, secure development, GitHub workflows, releases, and metricsChampion AI-assisted software engineering and autonomous SDLC to boost developer productivityPartner with Architecture, Cybersecurity, Platform, Operations, and Quality Engineering to align with enterprise standardsLead incident response, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery readiness, and production stability initiativesBuild and coach high-performing engineering teams while fostering accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learningLeverage metrics and dashboards to improve demand visibility, delivery health, technical health, capacity, and cost optimization
Key requirements12+ years in software engineering, technology delivery, platform engineering, or related leadership roles5+ years of people leadership directing engineering managers or distributed teamsExperience building, scaling, or operating engineering shared services or enablement programsStrong knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, cloud-native development, APIs, observability, release management, and operational resilienceExperience leading production support, incident management, risk remediation, and quality initiatives in complex enterprise environmentsProven ability to influence and collaborate across matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholdersStrong communication, coaching, organizational, and strategic leadership skillscommunicationleadership and people developmentcollaboration across teamsCI/CDDevSecOpsautomated testing
