Controller

*Position Overview:* The *Controller* will oversee the dealership's accounting and financial reporting functions while ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information. This role will work closely with dealership leadership and department managers to maintain strong financial controls, manage month-end reporting, support operational decision-making, and ensure dealership accounting practices are completed accurately and consistently. *Required* · Prior *automotive dealership accounting experience* · Demonstrated experience performing Controller-level, Assistant Controller-level, or comparable dealership accounting responsibilities · Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation · Working knowledge of automotive dealership accounting processes · Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, inventory accounting, and financial controls Previous experience as an *Automotive or Dealership Controller* IND002 Pay: $92,934.40 - $111,921.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Health insurance Experience: * Dealership: 4 years (Required) * Automotive sales: 4 years (Required) * automotive dealership accounting : 4 years (Required) Ability to Commute: * Monticello, NY 12701 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
