Sr. DevSecOps Engineer

Set Solutions, a Trace3 company, are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS to join a client of ours for a 6-12 month engagement. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS cloud services, security hardening, configuration management, and network management. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS technologies and a deep understanding of security best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud services, including CloudFormation, AWS Compute, Networking, Lambda, S3, FSx, EFS, IAM Roles, AWS Policies, and VPN Services. Implement security hardening measures based on Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) for Windows, Linux, and Networking components. Perform system administration tasks for Windows and Linux (RHEL and SLES) environments, including patch management and user management. Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, including user authentication and access control. Implement configuration management solutions using tools such as OSSEC and Ansible to automate deployment and configuration tasks. Configure and manage Datadog monitoring and logging solutions, including dashboard configuration and performance management. Manage virtual infrastructure using VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter, including virtual machine provisioning and resource allocation. Implement and manage virus scan utilities for cloud environments, including Cloud Virus Scan, ClamAV, and Sophos. Configure and manage network infrastructure components, including IPSec VPNs and Cisco Networking devices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of [X] years of experience in a DevSecOps or Cloud Engineer role, with a focus on AWS. Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture, with hands-on experience in implementation and management. Experience with security hardening techniques and STIG compliance for Windows, Linux, and Networking components. Proficiency in Windows and Linux (RHEL and SLES) administration, including scripting and automation. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory administration and configuration. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as OSSEC and Ansible. Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Datadog. Knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter. Familiarity with virus scan utilities and cloud security solutions. Strong understanding of network management and configuration principles, including IPSec VPNs and Cisco Networking. This role is not with Trace3, but with a valued client.
