Electrical Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to work with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, vendors, and customers while taking ownership of projects from design through testing and production.The Electrical Engineer will develop electrical designs for manufacturing projects, including power distribution, controls, and related systems. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving problems, working cross-functionally, and improving processes in a positive, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret customer requirements and develop electrical drawings, BOMs, and component selections.Create single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and communication/automation network drawings.Develop control house wiring documentation from customer design packages.Complete load calculations and power distribution designs.Source components and coordinate pricing and lead times with Purchasing and suppliers.Partner with Mechanical Engineering to integrate electrical and mechanical designs.Support manufacturing through design, build, testing, and production.Resolve technical questions with customers and address specification changes.Improve design standards, processes, and production efficiency.Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and project requirements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably with power systems or manufacturing.Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI standards.Experience with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Familiarity with electrical test and measurement equipment.Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.Experience working with project costs and budgets.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceShort- and long-term disability401(k) matchPaid vacation and sick timeTuition reimbursementMust a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card
