Marching Band Assistant

This stipended position is responsible for recruiting, organizing, and directing interested students to provide a quality marching band experience. This includes designing a show for a full competition season, attending both home and away football games, and town and local parades. The marching band assistant are responsible to set up, schedule, and run rehearsals outside of the regular school day in preparation for performances. The assistant will need to work closely with the high school curricular band assistant in recruiting new and returning members and sharing facilities and instruments. The marching band is part of the high school's student activity program and will coordinate facilities with the athletic director/student activities coordinator. The marching band assisant direct report is the high school Principal.Qualifications: Interested candidates should have a strong background in Instrumental music, as well as competitive marching band.Stipend: Ranges between $4,000- $7,000DELSEA HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
