Meal Program and Operations Clerk Job Description
Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Administrator, the Meal Program and Operations Clerk supports the daily administration, compliance, and financial processes of the school meal program across sites, ensuring accurate reporting, efficient coordination, and high-quality service delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Oversee daily K–8 meal service operations (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and support Wednesday service at the 201 site.
Serve as a liaison between Connect and RISE schools for meal program coordination, including limited travel between sites as needed.
Manage Mosaic by entering meal data, completing monthly close-outs, uploading Direct Certification reports, and training meal staff on system usage.
Process CNIPS reimbursements by reviewing invoices and entering required data to ensure timely and accurate claims.
Administer SunBucks by running MSA Client reports and responding to parent inquiries.
Coordinate and manage the Field Trip Meal Calendar by communicating with school sites, notifying Chartwells of meal needs, and tracking student absences to prevent overproduction.
Assist with opening and closing procedures for both Mosaic and the overall meal program.
Support the development and operation of the Coffee Bar (structure and responsibilities to be determined).
Track and maintain meal program equipment inventory.
Lead or support food engagement initiatives in partnership with Chartwells, including student and parent communications, taste tests, cultural food days, and participation campaigns.
Track and manage Concur credit card expenses, including ongoing purchase request support for departments such as Athletics and Performing Arts.
Assist with reconciling American Express accounts to ensure all transactions are current and accurate.

Use a computer, and common classroom equipment.
Operate standard office equipment copier, fax machine, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Combination of training and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described, including previous experience working with groups of children; experience working with children with disabilities highly desirable.
Knowledge of: Basic reading, writing, and math.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
