Job Title: Instructional Designer & eLearning DeveloperPosition SummaryWe are seeking a creative and technical eLearning Developer to design, build, and maintain high-impact digital and blended learning solutions. You will leverage modern authoring tools and instructional design principles to develop a high-performing workforce, ensuring all content is engaging, functional, and aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Development & DesignDesign & Produce: Create high-quality, web-enabled eLearning modules, traditional training materials, and blended learning solutions using industry-standard tools.Multimedia Integration: Apply graphic design principles and interactive media techniques to build visually compelling and pedagogically sound content.Innovation: Advocate for and implement innovative learning technologies to improve workforce performance and engagement.Technical Execution & MaintenanceLMS Integration: Deploy and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring full functionality and SCORM/AICC compliance.Quality Assurance: Test, troubleshoot, and debug learning solutions across various platforms, browsers, and devices.Collaboration: Partner with IT and Technical Support to resolve software conflicts and ensure seamless connectivity between learning tools and company intranets.Strategy & Project ManagementEnd-to-End Ownership: Manage the project lifecycle for internal and external clients, from initial planning and needs assessment to final delivery.Continuous Improvement: Develop data management tools to track training effectiveness; evaluate and revise curriculum based on stakeholder feedback and performance metrics.Communication: Lead planning meetings and conference calls, manage action items, and facilitate professional development seminars or certifications.Required QualificationsEducation & ExperienceDegree: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, English, Journalism, Business, or a related field.Technical Proficiency: Mastery of eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Lectora, Adobe Captivate) and the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).Web Standards: Strong understanding of web development standards, including HTML, JavaScript, and eLearning protocols (SCORM/AICC).Skills & AbilitiesCommunication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.Agility: Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and ambiguous requirements.Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in needs assessment techniques and statistical reporting methods.Foundational IT: General knowledge of computer hardware, processors, and programming logic (SQL or Visual Basic).Preferred QualificationsMultimedia: Experience in professional video and audio editing for consistent, high-quality production.Accessibility: Working knowledge of Section 508 compliance and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.Work EnvironmentTypical office setting with occasional travel required.EEO: “Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
