We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team of Insurance professionals. Our team specializes in promoting State Farm's diverse portfolio of insurance and financial service products and is an independent State Farm Agency.
No insurance experience? No problem! On-the-job training will be provided for all insurance related duties. Applicants must be willing/able to procure a Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer license prior to starting and within 6 weeks of job offer.
Job Overview;
This full-time position will interact directly with customers and will work as a part of our customer service team. The majority of the role’s responsibilities revolve around computer-based tasks and frequent communication with customers, so having excellent computer and customer service skills are a must. This position will report directly to the Office Manager.
Responsibilities;
Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner over the phone, in-person and through text, email and on social media.
Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
Assist customers in resolving issues and answer questions they may have about State Farm products and services.
Actively review customer’s accounts to identify issues and opportunities.
Contact customers to setup general and product specific meetings.
Maintain, update and service customer accounts and policies.
Manage weekly/monthly Sales and performance goals.
Process payments, assist customers with billing issues and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Assist in managing the Agency’s social media accounts.
Requirements;
At least 1 year of customer service experience required, 2-3 years of experience preferred
Associate's degree -OR- equivalent work experience preferred
Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer licenses within the specified time frame
Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and Teams; Experience with CRM or eCRM programs is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Must be a team player and enjoy working closely with a small team
Benefits;
Salary $45,000 - $60,000 DoE plus Commission
Monday-Friday schedule, with an emphasis on Work-Life Balance
