Warehouse Lead

Warehouse Lead The Warehouse Lead position will manage all aspects of warehouse operation, including receiving, packaging, shipping, and inventory management. The role involves leading a team of 8 to 10 people.Responsibilities Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment and managing inventory accuracy.Conduct periodic inventories and cycle counts to maintain inventory levels.Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.Drive lift trucks as necessary to assist in shipping, receiving, and distribution duties.Essential Skills Experience in inventory management, picking, order pulling, and packing.Proficiency in inventory control, shipping, and receiving.Leadership skills for managing a team.Experience with kitting, material handling, and warehouse inventory.Knowledge of the industry, particularly in nuts and bolts, aerospace, or military sectors.Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to coordinate freight and understand logistics.Strong documentation and organizational skills, including filing and cert parting.Proficiency in office suite software, including Excel.Experience with wrapping and packing pallets, purchase order knowledge, and supplier test reports.Familiarity with cycle counting.Experience from industries such as automotive, NG, Granger, Motion Industries, SES, Boeing, Raytheon, etc. is advantageous.Why Work Here? Tasks may involve bending, stooping, squatting, or standing as necessary. Cognitive abilities required include deductive reasoning, information ordering, oral and written comprehension, and problem sensitivity.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
