Provide In-Home Therapy services in homes or other community locations Rewarding career working with youth and their families Master's level clinicians needed License-eligible Some in person and some telehealth assignments Boston area Provide In-Home Therapy (IHT) services in homes or other community locations to youth and families enrolled in IHT through the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative. The In-Home Therapy team provides strength-based therapy to youth under 21 years old who have social, emotional, and behavioral health needs and to the youths’ families. Therapists are Master's level clinicians who provide individual and family therapy with the goal of enhancing functioning and positive communication both individually and within the family system. Therapists provide an initial assessment and quarterly reassessments, therapy, some crisis intervention, and care coordination to children, adolescents, and their families as part of a team with a Therapeutic Training and Support (TT&S) Bachelor’s level staff. Education and Licensure Required:License-Eligible Masters Degree in Related Field from CBHI Approved List of Degrees Preferred:Obtain independent license within 2 years of full time employment Experience Required:Experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents with behavioral health needs and their families. Preferred:Experience with strength-based assessment and development of treatment plans based on clear clinical formulations and knowledge of collateral systems. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team structure.Demonstrated creativity, cultural curiosity, and flexibility in responding to a variety of family, home, and community environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Abilities Required:Reliable transportation and proof of valid auto registration, auto insurance, and driver's license. Ability to be flexible and responsive to client and family scheduling needs and crises between the hours of 8 am and 8 pmAbility to meet deadlines and follow through with multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to respond to and follow through with requests professionally.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to sit at work station for prolonged periods of time, consistent with OSHA suggestions and requirements.Must have the ability to access different community locations for meetings and sessions.Must have ability to lift packages up to 10 pounds. Preferred:Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply (but not required). Essential functions: 1. Use established psycho-therapeutic techniques/interventions to help improve youth's social, emotional, and behavioral functioning, prevent inpatient admission, and strengthen caregiver(s) parenting skills. 2. Conduct all necessary assessments in a thorough and timely manner, obtain approval as required prior to filing, and provide all needed updates. 3. Develop a treatment plan in collaboration with family and collaterals that prioritizes needs and sets related goals as indicated by assessment; revise and update plan as intervention proceeds. 4. Develop and support an effective risk assessment and safety plan with youth and family. 5. Collaborate with TT&S in implementing the treatment plan to assist youth and family in achieving the goals of the plan. 6. Plan and conduct, with TT&S, family and/or individual meetings (as needed) in support of goals with clear purpose and maximum possible flexibility, including times/places for meetings. 7. Ensure specialist consultations, evaluations, and referrals are requested. 8. Develop initial and ongoing teamwork with family members, formal providers, natural supports, and others who can support sustainable progress. 9. Organize, attend, and/or travel to meetings/ appointments in various locations. 10. Maintain paper and electronic records in an orderly and timely manner. 11. Participate in and come prepared to weekly supervision and staff meetings. 12. If youth is enrolled in Intensive Care Coordination, participate in all care planning meetings and processes for the youth. 13. Follow through with on-call policies and procedures. 14. Complete all required trainings, including CANS certification. 15. Ensure that all services are provided in a professional manner, ensuring privacy and safety. 16. Provide outpatient therapy to cases as needed/assigned. 17. All other duties, as assigned[ND1] .
