About the CompanyOur client is a successful metal fabrication technology company that is employee and family-focused, offering longevity, stability and the opportunity for career growth.About the RoleThis role as a Manufacturing Engineer is for an experienced professional who enjoys being hands-on in CNC programming, CAD, leading lean initiatives, providing quotes/estimates for the sales team and working directly with the customer.ResponsibilitiesDesigning, implementing, and improving processes in a quality-driven manufacturing facilityLeading Lean initiatives including root cause analysis, 5S and Kaizen eventsIdentifying and procuring the equipment needed for productionSupporting CNC programming and set-up when neededWorking on the floor and in the office using SolidWorks, CNC coding, and MastercamDeveloping and maintaining processes, SOPs, and related documentationWorking closely with quality, production, and design for new product developmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication)Required SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks and CNC programming (G-code), Mastercam, and Haas (similar skills will be considered)Lean Manufacturing experience, excellent communication, and project management skills with both internal staff as well as external customersDesire to learn, grow, and design new products based on customers’ request
