Global Operational Excellence Director
We are hiring a Global Director of Operational Excellence (Industrial Engineering) to lead enterprise‐wide Industrial Engineering initiatives across multiple semiconductor manufacturing sites (fabs).This role is 100% Onsite in San Antonio, TX or Newport Beach, CA.This role partners closely with site‐level IE leaders to drive measurable improvements in OEE, cycle time, throughput, WIP management, and on‐time delivery through data‐driven methodologies and standardized systems.This is a hands‐on leadership role for a semiconductor IE expert who thrives in complex manufacturing environments and enjoys solving large, ambiguous operational problems with structure, analytics, and execution rigor.What You'll Be Responsible ForLead global Industrial Engineering strategy across multiple semiconductor fabsManage and facilitate a corporate IE leadership forumDrive cross‐functional global initiatives focused on:OEE improvementBottleneck identification and resolutionCycle time and throughput optimizationWIP management and inventory flowCAPEX planning and utilizationErgonomics and operator efficiencyEstablish and enforce standardized global procedures, analytical models, and KPIsLead corporate capacity planning and capacity management programsDevelop planning, KPI tracking, and WIP management models used consistently across sitesDrive manufacturing excellence through benchmarking, best‐practice adoption, and continuous improvementPartner with global stakeholders in operations, engineering, manufacturing science, and leadershipCommunicate complex data and recommendations clearly to VP and C‐suite audiencesThis Role Is a Great Fit If You:Have deep experience working inside semiconductor fabsAre passionate about Industrial Engineering, manufacturing science, and data‐driven decision‐makingEnjoy leading global, cross‐functional teams through ambiguity and changeThink both strategically and operationally—from high‐level architecture down to executionBring strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder‐management skillsRequired QualificationsB.S. in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering (Master's preferred)Extensive Industrial Engineering experience in a semiconductor manufacturing (fab) environmentLeadership experience at Director level (or minimum 3+ years managing teams, per updated requirements)Strong background in:Manufacturing science (scheduling, dispatching, TOC, Lean, push/pull systems)OEE and performance metricsWIP and capacity planningStatistical analysis and data‐driven problem solvingProven experience leading global, multi‐site initiativesThis role is paying between 200-220k Annually depending on experience.
