The Role Working closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership team, the Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the restaurant. This position ensures that all service items and kitchen areas are clean, safe, and ready to support a smooth and efficient service. What You’ll Do Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Safely operate and maintain dish machines and three-compartment sinks Properly store all cleaned items in designated areas Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish and BOH areas, including floors, trash, and recycling Sweep, mop, and manage waste to ensure a clean, safe, and dry work environment Handle fragile items with care while ensuring proper sanitation standards Support proper food storage practices, including labeling, dating, and organization when needed Maintain a steady sense of urgency to support the flow of service Follow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties in a timely and thorough manner Assist kitchen team with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as needed Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, and supply needs to management Who You Are Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable following direction and receiving feedback Maintain all required health and sanitation certifications Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed Why This Role Be part of a team that values cleanliness, organization, and teamwork as essential to great service Work in a supportive kitchen environment focused on collaboration and consistency Opportunity to grow within Boka Restaurant Group, who prioritize internal advancement and long-term careers Benefits & Perks Health, Dental, and Voluntary Benefits Package (available after 90 days), employer-sponsored mental health and resource program, 401(k) program, paid sick leave, career mentorship and growth potential, and dining incentives across our 20+ establishments!
