Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:
Our company is looking for a personable and attentive individual to manage phone lines and a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. They will be the first point of contact for our company and work closely with office staff to notify them of incoming calls, prepare outgoing mail and make copies or fax documents. Responsibilities
· Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
· Answer, screen and forwarding incoming phone calls
· Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
· Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/ front office deliveries
· Organize and coordinate events
· Update calendars and schedule meetings
· Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
· Arrange travel and accommodations for staff, as needed
· Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
· Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
· Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Past administrative experience or tenure in an office setting a plus
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
· Excellent organizational skills
· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
