DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you are part of a mission-critical team that ensures our global engineering force has the most reliable and efficient build environments possible.Actian is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments. This role requires strong Linux and Windows system administration skills along with experience in automation, operational compliance, and audit support. The position works closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to maintain and improve critical infrastructure systems and operational processes.Responsibilities: Administering and supporting Linux and Windows systemsPerforming system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and troubleshootingSupporting internal and external audit activities, including evidence collection and remediation trackingMaintaining infrastructure and operational documentationDeveloping and maintaining automation using AnsibleWorking with Git-based workflows and configuration managementSupporting operational security and compliance initiativesAssisting with infrastructure modernization and process improvement effortsPreferred Experience: Ansible and GitBash, PowerShell, or Python scriptingVirtualization platforms such as VMware or ProxmoxBackup and recovery platformsCompliance and audit processesMonitoring and infrastructure management toolsIdeal Candidate: Organized, detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable balancing hands-on operational responsibilities with compliance and process requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment are important for success in this role.Must be located in the Austin Texas area.
