Position:Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - East Valley, Mesa Campus, 26/27 SY, with $3K Sign-On Bonus!Type:CharterLocation:SuburbanJob ID:132646County:East MaricopaPosted:February 18, 2026Contact Information:Arizona Autism Charter Schools1414 E Indian School RdPhoenix, AZ 85014District WebsiteContact:Margot HessingPhone: 480-442-5321Fax:District EmailJob Description:$3k Sign-On Bonus and up to $1,000/year in non-taxable reimbursement for CEUs and licensure fees.AZACS is growing, and we invite you to apply to be part of our award-winning teamAZACS was awarded the 2023/2024 National ESEA Distinguished Schools Award for Arizona and the 2022 YASS Prize for innovation in education and providing a transformational experience by expanding unique individualized learning programs for autism charter schools.Under the supervision and direction of the Campus Assistant Director, the SLP will be responsible for:Implement student engagement strategies that ensure adequate progress toward goals.Conduct assessments/evaluations and collect data on studentsWrite, implement, and progress monitor individualized communication goals for students on your caseload.Engage in data-driven instruction decisions with the entire team.Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies throughout all practices.Duties:Develops treatment plans, interventions, and/or educational materials for the purpose of meeting individualized student objectives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Provide Speech and language services to students with IEPs. The number of students varies depending on workload and possible SLPA support.Possible supervision of SLPAs with the implementation of speech and language services in the classroom, depending on caseload numbers.Write and attend MET and IEP meetings as the SLP service coordinator.Evaluate students in the area of speech and language as determined by the MET team.Implement communication goals identified on student IEPsConsults with teachers, parents, other personnel, and/or outside professionals for the purpose of providing requested information, developing plans for services, and/or making recommendations and/or referrals.Follow school-wide systems, rules, and positive behavior interventionsDeliver services in a classroom integration modelCoach classroom staff and SLPAs on the implementation of speech/communication goalsSupport for staff and students with Augmentative Communication DevicesSupport classroom curriculum as it relates to language acquisitionCommunicate effectively and proactively with students and familiesResponsible for paperwork complianceAccountability for growth and proficiency in IEP goalsParticipate in annual and ongoing staff trainingRegular and predictable attendance is considered an essential requirement of your position.Complete Medicaid billingAdditional duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:* May be required to coach, monitor, and mentor up to 2 Speech-Language Pathology Assistants working with students with disabilities.Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school of speech-language pathology.Experience delivering services in a school setting, in a classroom integration model, is preferredAbility to approach situations with optimism and perseveranceExcellent verbal, written, and organizational skillsMinimum of two years of SLP experience in a school setting preferredExperience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferredValid Arizona fingerprint clearance cardSLP-CCC PreferredRequired:Arizona IVP Fingerprint clearance cardValid Speech-Language Pathology LicenseADE Speech-Language Pathology CertificationMaster's Degree or higherOther:BenefitsThe school is located at a new state-of-the-art Autism CenterCompetitive pay based on experienceMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Supplemental Life, Short-term disability, Group Life Insurance, Supplemental Benefits (hospitalization, critical illness, scheduled accident), and Pet Insurance.Paid Time Off (80 hours, prorated), including paid federal holidays and school breaksEligible to participate in a 401(k) Traditional and/or Roth with a company matchGreat professional development and advancement opportunities!Complementary access to Calm Health for you and up to 5 of your loved onesEligible for up to $1,000 total in non-taxable reimbursement for continuing education unit credits (CEU) and professional licensure fees each school yearTuition reimbursement after 6 months of employmentEligible to participate in the referral bonus program(*) A $3,000 sign-on bonus of $1,500 is paid after the first 90 days of the start date and $1,500 after the completion of the school year, with satisfactory performance and attendance
