Motion Design Intern

*About Bubba's LA* Bubba's LA is a creative studio specializing in animation, motion design, live-action production, VFX, and emerging creative technologies. We create commercial content for brands by combining storytelling, design, and technology. We're looking for a creative, curious Motion Design Intern who wants hands-on experience in a professional studio. You'll work alongside artists, designers, producers, and creative directors while learning how projects move from concept through final delivery. Our goal is to provide meaningful real-world experience, professional mentorship, and opportunities to build your portfolio. *This is an in-person Fall 2026 internship based in our Burbank studio.* Interns may work up to 24 hours per week. Please note that housing and relocation assistance are not provided. *What You'll Do* *Responsibilities may include:* * Create and collaborate on motion graphics projects and experiments * Assist with presentation decks and creative pitches * Conduct visual research for current and upcoming projects * Support post-production and creative workflows * Organize project files, references, and creative assets * Observe and learn from professional artists across animation, motion design, VFX, and live action * Gain exposure to AI-assisted creative workflows and emerging production technologies * Support day-to-day studio operations and creative projects *What You'll Learn* *Throughout the internship, you'll gain exposure to:* * Motion design and animation workflows * Creative development and brainstorming * Marketing and social media content creation * Commercial production and post-production * Professional creative collaboration * Modern creative technologies, including AI-assisted workflows *We're Looking For Someone Who* * Has a passion for design, animation, and visual storytelling * Is organized, dependable, and eager to learn * Works well both independently and collaboratively * Has experience with Adobe Creative Cloud bonus for Cinema4D experience * Has strong communication and organizational skills * Brings a positive attitude and a "no job is too small" mindset * Has an interest in motion design (a plus, but not required) * Has reliable transportation to our Burbank studio *What You'll Gain* * Professional studio experience * Mentorship from experienced creatives * Portfolio-building opportunities * Exposure to commercial production and post-production * A better understanding of how a creative studio operates Pay: $16.90 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week Work Location: In person
