Dental Assistant

This will be a "Floater" position as we have 2 locations. Work days will either be at our Bluffton or Hilton Head Island office, depending on where coverage is needed. Super fun, growing dental practice looking for an Experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! Our dream dental assistant would be: -Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks - intentional and self-motivated - friendly and kind - reliable - patient, respectful, and positive - a believer in the highest quality of patient care - proactive about patient treatment plans - interested in continuing education and the latest dental technology Other Responsibilities - Assist the dentist chairside during procedures. - Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. - Operate 3D scanner for imaging purposes. - Support in various aspects of general dentistry. - Apply aseptic techniques to maintain cleanliness. - Communicate effectively with patients and team members. - Utilize Spanish language skills to assist Spanish-speaking patients. Qualifications - Chairside assisting experience - Proficiency in dental terminology - Familiarity with 3D scanner technology - Knowledge of general dentistry procedures - Understanding of medical terminology - Ability to assist in Prosthodontics and Endodontics - Skilled in aseptic technique and anatomy - Bilingual in English and Spanish - Familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA regulations - Basic X-Ray knowledge - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills We are fully digital and use Dentrix Ascend.
