Construction Project Manager

*Job Summary* We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, scheduling, cost control, and regulatory compliance will drive project success while fostering a collaborative environment among teams, clients, and stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale projects that shape communities and infrastructure. *Responsibilities* * Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. * Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating all construction activities effectively. * Manage project budgets by overseeing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and implementing cost control measures using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools. * Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. * Supervise and manage teams on-site and in-office, including subcontractors, engineers, and vendors; foster a team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. * Ensure construction site safety regulations are strictly followed; conduct regular inspections and enforce safety protocols. * Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project progression and resolve issues promptly. * Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling updates; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines without compromising quality. * Oversee contract administration, including reviewing contracts for scope clarity and compliance with legal standards. * Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports. *Requirements* * Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects within commercial or infrastructure sectors; familiarity with civil engineering principles is highly desirable. * Strong proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, Civil 3D or similar tools for project scheduling and document management. * Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices using HeavyBid or comparable software. * Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans accurately; understanding of contracts and legal aspects of construction projects. * Hands-on experience managing teams on active construction sites with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. * Familiarity with construction regulations, permitting processes, and environmental standards applicable to large infrastructure projects. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies. * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred; additional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
