We aspire for profound, large‐scale impact on children ages zero to five.As the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering at Bezos Academy, you will lead the team responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving a secure, reliable, SaaS‐first enterprise technology environment. This is a player‐coach role: you will set direction and develop people, while also remaining hands‐on in critical technical areas. To this role you should bring a combination of strong people leadership with hands‐on technical depth, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft 365 for workplace productivity and Microsoft Entra ID as the backbone for identity, access governance, collaboration, and security.You will own foundational infrastructure across multi‐site networking (Meraki) for 40 locations, endpoint and mobile device management, cloud integrations, and SaaS platform administration. You will also support enterprise AI enablement, ensuring AI capabilities are deployed with strong identity and data controls, operational readiness, and scalable support patterns. You will deliver outcomes through disciplined program and project management practices, partnering closely with IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders.LOCATIONHYBRID — Seattle, WA (seeking someone who can be onsite generally every Tues & Wed)Relocation support is available for those willing to relocate to Seattle, WA.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSThis is a full‐time, benefits‐eligible, exempt (salaried) position.The full salary range for this position in Seattle, WA, is $130,000 - $216,000 per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for employees who have been in the role for multiple years and have demonstrated strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by qualifications and prior experience.This role includes 15 paid days of vacation, 4 days of paid personal time off, 9 paid days of sick (care) time, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid days off for an organization‐wide winter break, and additional time off if required by applicable law.
