Express Communication Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist-Assistant (SLP-Assistant) to join our pediatric clinic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and supporting their communication development.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities as directed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist
Support children with articulation, language, and social communication goals
Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists, families, and team members to support client progress
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist-Assistant (SLP-Assistant) in North Carolina (or eligibility)
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
