And responsibilities of Deputy Director of Operations include, but are not limited to, the following:Provides strategic direction and oversight of financial, budgetary, procurement, and technology functions. Assists in the development, administration, and monitoring of the agency's operating and capital budgets. Oversees financial planning, expenditure control, fiscal forecasting, and financial reporting activities. Directs procurement, contract administration, and vendor management functions in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. Develops and implements internal controls, and business processes to ensure organizational effectiveness and accountability. Provides strategic oversight of records management, documentation systems, and regulatory compliance functions. Coordinates agency financial and administrative matters with County departments, auditors, partner agencies, and governing bodies.
