Junior Engineer

Job DescriptionJob Duties: Prepare preliminary engineering design for full demolition and interior demolition of building, and draft sequential demolition analysis of structures Perform basic survey work to assist with designs, including field visits. Support PE in conducting structural stability inspections of buildings before and during construction to ensure that the work complies with the approved plans and building codes. Research current building codes and design codes to support the design phase of new building or structural renewal. Prepare engineering calculations and structural analysis for simple structural components of buildings. Evaluate losses in strength, functionality and value through safety and damage assessments, reliability and risk analyses and component and material testing Assist with analysis to develop design options or recommendations as well as assist in the preparation of the requirements and specifications for structural engineering projects. Job requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering 12 months of work experience at same or related position in civil engineering or construction firm.
