Security Systems Support TechnicianWe’re an established MSP seeking a motivated Security Systems Support Technician to assist with troubleshooting, servicing, and supporting video surveillance and door access control systems at client locations.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem solving, and customer interaction while building experience with commercial security technologies including IP cameras, door access systems, and basic network connectivity.You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to diagnose issues, perform basic repairs, assist with installations, and provide exceptional customer support both remotely and onsite.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot and support IP camera and video surveillance systemsAssist with diagnosing and resolving door access control issuesReplace or service cameras, readers, locks, power supplies, and related hardwareTroubleshoot basic network connectivity issues related to security systemsVerify PoE connectivity, cabling integrity, and device communicationRespond to client service requests remotely and onsiteDocument service work, configurations, and support tickets accuratelyAssist senior technicians with system installations and upgradesMaintain a professional and customer-focused presence at client sitesWho You AreInterested in physical security technology and hands-on troubleshootingComfortable using basic networking concepts such as IP addressing and PoEMechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and low-voltage cablingCustomer-service oriented with strong communication skillsReliable, organized, and eager to learnAble to work independently while also collaborating with a teamComfortable traveling to client locations as neededPreferred Qualifications1–2 years of experience in low-voltage, security systems, IT support, or related technical workFamiliarity with IP cameras, NVRs, or door access systems preferredBasic understanding of TCP/IP networking and PoEExperience with Speco, Turing, ProDataKey, or similar platforms is a plusCompTIA A+, Network+, or vendor certifications are beneficial but not requiredWhat We OfferHands-on training and mentorship from experienced techniciansOpportunity to grow into advanced security and networking rolesExposure to commercial access control, surveillance, and IT environmentsSupportive team-oriented cultureCareer advancement opportunities within a growing companyIf you’re looking to start or grow your career in commercial security technology and enjoy solving technical problems in the field, we’d love to hear from you.
