Sr. RF Engineer

Title: RF Engineer PIM tester 5+ years of Experience with Tier-1 Operator Strong understanding of Ericsson/Samsung/Nokia network architecture and RF principles Conduct Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing on Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and macro cell sites using approved customer procedures and equipment. Analyze PIM test results to identify and troubleshoot sources of intermodulation distortion and signal interference, ensuring compliance with customer network standards. Operate customer-specific PIM testing equipment such as the Anritsu PIM Master, Kaelus iQA/iPA, and other relevant RF testing tools. Utilize spectrum analyzers (e.g., Keysight N9952A FieldFox) to perform detailed signal analysis and ensure clean signal transmission within customer frequency bands. Inspect and validate the installation and alignment of antennas, feeders, and connectors to minimize PIM sources. Maintain detailed records of PIM testing results, site conditions, and corrective actions taken, generating comprehensive reports for Customer's network engineering team. Work closely with Customer's field engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate testing schedules, report findings, and implement solutions. Stay updated on the latest PIM testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Must be able to independently perform testing for cable including VSWR, Distance to Fault etc Need to support PIM Testing DAS, small cell and BTS deployments, swap outs and retrofits at client sites Experience with common DAS Equipment including Fiber DAS, Repeaters, Coaxial Cable, CAT 5 Cable, Antennas, Splitters, Fiber Cable, etc Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Do you have experience with PIM Testing?
