Property Maintenance Technician

About Us Rent Ready Renovations LLC is a licensed residential contractor based in the Portland metro area (CCB #250607). We provide outsourced property maintenance services to residential property owners and managers across Portland, keeping units safe, functional, and rent-ready. We're a small, professional team that takes pride in quality work and treating our people well. Why Work With Us We built this position for someone who's already great at this work and is ready for a better situation. If you've been grinding through weekend shifts, on-call rotations, and late-night calls at a large apartment complex, we want you to know there's another way. At Rent Ready, you'll work a straight Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:00 schedule with no weekends and no on-call. We offer a benefits package that includes employer-subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan with employer match, paid time off, and six paid holidays. We're not a large company, and that's the point. We know who you are, we trust you to do your job, and we treat you accordingly. We're looking for someone who wants to plant roots, do quality work, and be a dependable part of a small professional team for the long haul. Rent Ready Renovations considers all qualified applicants, including those with prior involvement in the criminal justice system. A past conviction does not automatically disqualify you. We evaluate applicants individually and fairly. About the Role We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM position with a consistent, predictable schedule. Rent Ready Renovations is an independent contracting company — we are not a property management company. We are contracted on a job-by-job basis to perform maintenance and renovation work across a portfolio of residential properties in Portland. You won't be an on-site employee of a single complex; you'll be a field professional dispatched by us to where the work is. You'll primarily be assigned to one property but may be called to other residential properties in and around Portland as needed. You'll work independently the majority of the time, managing your own schedule and executing punch lists and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
