(Based on Experience) About the RoleBright Minds is partnering with a growing systems integration organization to identify a Security Install Technician to support installation, programming, startup, testing, certification, and customer training on assigned projects.This is a strong fit for someone with some field experience in electronic security, fire alarm, low-voltage, or related technical systems who wants to continue developing in a project-based, customer-facing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, program, test, repair, and service a variety of systems and equipment, including electronic security, fire alarm, life safety, and related building systemsSupport assigned projects through startup, checkout, commissioning, certification testing, customer training, and closeoutRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and installation documentsTroubleshoot equipment and support repairs using standard hand tools and test instrumentsOperate systems to demonstrate functionality, analyze performance, and identify malfunctionsAssist with project coordination alongside Project Managers and Operations leadershipHelp identify project risks and communicate issues that may affect cost, schedule, or customer satisfactionProvide technical support to customers and assist with ongoing project-related needsSupport closeout documentation, installation quality, and overall customer satisfaction throughout project executionQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience1–3 years of relevant field service, installation, or technical systems experience preferredInterest in learning and developing technical skills related to electronic security and/or fire alarm systemsStrong customer service mindset and ability to work well under pressureSelf-starter who can work effectively with direct supervisionSolid mechanical and electrical aptitude, including experience with hand and power toolsAbility to read basic blueprints, schematics, and installation documentsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis; minimal overnight travel may be requiredFor immediate consideration please send resume to .
