Senior Database Administrator
Senior Database Administrator ( DBA )to join a fast-paced, multi-tasking, collaborative infrastructure team supporting both legacy and cloud-based database environments. This role requires deep RDBMS experience (SQL Server, Oracle, AWS RDS, DMS) and the ability to work independently across diverse systems as well as in collaboration with other teams. You will play a critical role in performance tuning, data replication, and ensuring stability of production systems while supporting broader modernization efforts.Key Responsibilities:Relational Database Management:Administer and support SQL Server, AWS RDS (MySQL, Postgres), DMS, and OraclePerform query optimization, indexing, blocking resolution, and performance tuningManage transactional replication, backups, log file integrity, and tablespace healthTroubleshoot database performance issues and proactively take corrective actionsDeploy and manage AWS services such as RDS, DMS, DocumentDB, DynamoDBSupport cloud DNS setup, security integration, and access control configurationsCollaborate across DevOps, data engineering, and application teams to align infrastructure with delivery goalsSupport & Maintenance:Provide on-call and after-hours support as requiredParticipate in incident response and ongoing performance monitoringMaintain high availability and resilience of all critical data systemsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of DBA experience across SQL Server, Oracle, AWSStrong knowledge of indexing strategies, schema design, and replicationExperience with AWS RDS, DMS, and general cloud data architectureAnalytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and communication skillsFamiliarity with modern SDLC and CI/CD practices, terraform, GitAble to work independently in a high-volume, multi-database , multi-tasking environmentNice to Have (Not Required):Snowflake Administration:Set up and maintain schemas, access roles, pipelines, and storageMonitor workloads, manage tuning, and optimize data flowSupport backup and recovery processes and system health monitoringExperience with FiveTranHVR, scripting language like pythonROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION LLC is an equal opportunity employer inclusive of female, minority, disability and veterans, (M/F/D/V).
