Sourcing Engineer

Your roleWe are seeking a skilled Sourcing Engineer to work with our team in Basom, NY.Compensation- $79,530.00 - $99,420.00In conjunction with Supply Chain Manager, develop a strategic sourcing roadmap, including defined commodity strategiesSupplier onboarding, management, and exitPerform supplier audits as requiredAlign with Quality Team to ensure suppliers meet/exceed quality targets. Drive corrective actions/countermeasures with underperforming suppliers.Improve supplier on-time delivery to meet/exceed targets. Perform root cause analysis and implement countermeasures for underperforming suppliers.Implement cost reduction strategies across the supplier base using a Total Cost of Ownership model.Work directly with purchase planning team to ensure purchasing and stocking strategies align with corporate working capital targets.Coordinate with Engineering Team on design specifications for approved parts.Negotiate Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) with key suppliersCreate, manage and communicate RFQs for both new and existing products.Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team including Supply Chain, Quality, Product Management, Engineering, and SalesCompliance with all company safety and ethics requirements.To succeed, you will needWe encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement.
