Lab Technician（US）Add：Suite 150, 10 Pasteur, Irvine, CA 92618 USAResponsibilities:Perform laboratory tasks related to Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), including but not limited to:Sample extraction (DNA extraction)Library preparationHybridizationSequencer operationPerform laboratory tasks related to genotyping workflows, including:Sample spotting and preparationPCR amplification and optimizationFluorescence-based detection and analysisCarry out routine laboratory activities such as setup and maintenance of equipment, preparation of testing solutions, and daily cleaning and housekeeping activities.Manage inventory, including:Monitoring reagent and consumable stock levelsTimely restocking and procurement to avoid disruptionsAccurate tracking of stock movements, including in-stock and out-stock documentationNext-Generation Sequencing (NGS):Perform DNA extraction from various sample types with high accuracy.Prepare libraries for sequencing, including quality control and quantification.Conduct hybridization and enrichment procedures as required.Operate sequencing platforms (e.g., Illumina, BGI) and ensure data quality control.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.Preferred hands-on experience with NGS workflows, including library preparation and sequencing.Preferred familiarity with genotyping techniques such as PCR and fluorescence detection.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate and convey technical information.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, including inventory management.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
