Long Island Security Officer

The Security Guard is responsible for performing licensed security guarding duties to ensure safety and security of assigned client location, its visitors, guests, residents and their property. By exhibiting vigilance and tactfulness in following company protocol, the Security Guard is perceptive at identifying situational risk within assigned area and prompt in communicating events to Site Supervisor/Manager on duty. Essential Job Responsibilities: Provides onsite watch /protection of assigned post at hotel and designated perimeter Greeting guests Responsible for access control to property of employees, guest, and deliveries Responsible for conducting tours hourly of the property as well as video monitoring. Pool access and events Ensures lockdown of lounge area and elevators. Logs in all activities in the logbook and shift reports Responding to any security issues that guests, staff and management may have Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Night shift Overnight shift License/Certification: NYS Security Guard License (Required) Work Location: In person
