Complete all tasks assigned by the warehouse/operations manager.Essential functions:Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Pull inventory for shipmentsHelp with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for deliveryRecording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating proceduresEnsuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processedKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and preventively maintain warehouse equipmentFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsWorking in accordance with all warehouse safety regulationsLoad finished product onto truckNavigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer ordersFollow all applicable safety regulations and processes as associated with driving, vehicle check, material handling and customer site specificsInteract with customers and the public in a professional and positive mannerCounter sales to general contractorsUse technology to help manage the logistics processOther relative duties as assignedMinimum qualifications:High school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experienceMust pass pre-employment background check and drug testKnowledge, skills and abilities:Basic computer skillsKnowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus.Experience driving trucks for delivery preferred.Good communication skillsAbility to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates.Physical demands: This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.Work environment: This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware.
