Transportation Coordinator (Day Program)

Hiring Bonus of $600 for TC’s successfully passing their 3-mo. probation, and an additional $1,000 after their one-year anniversary. We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Transportation Coordinator who wants to bring both logistics know-how and heart to our mission. What You’ll Do As Transportation Coordinator, you’ll ensure that SVS programs in the Hollister region run smoothly and safely every day. Your work will directly support our clients’ access to services and their participation in community life. Base Office-Hollister, supported offices include Hollister, Watsonville and Gilroy. Key responsibilities include: Coordinate and schedule all daily transportation operations for multiple SVS programs. Train, supervise, and evaluate SVS drivers. Manage vehicle service, repair, and rental accounts. Schedule and monitor vehicle maintenance and safety inspections. Track mileage, fuel, and other data for monthly reporting. Assist with route efficiency and cost savings. Investigate and document vehicle incidents in compliance with SVS policy. Maintain accurate records and communication with program managers. What You Bring High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or experience in fleet management, logistics, or supervision strongly preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols (training available). Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record. Ability to pass DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance and health screening (including lifting and TB tests). Commitment to SVS’s mission and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
