Assist assigned teacher in any way possible.Assist in serving the meals and sitting with the children while they eat at the tables in family style.Keep classrooms, storage rooms, and bathrooms clean, neat and orderly.Be familiar with and follow all procedural policies.Report to Supervisor any special needs or problems of individual children.Report to Supervisor any cases of suspected child abuse or neglect.Handle discipline promptly and in accordance with stated policy on discipline.Must be cooperative and discuss center matters at the center.RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent plus experience working with preschool children in a child care center. Courses in early childhood may be accepted in lieu of experience.
