Role Description The Fiber Technician-MDU (FTTH Installations) position is a full-time, on-site role located in Nampa, ID. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber-optic systems in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). Day-to-day tasks include setting up, splicing, and terminating fiber-optic cables, collaborating with team members to ensure quality, and addressing and resolving technical challenges with speed and precision. Qualifications Knowledge and hands-on experience working with Cables and Cabling systemsProficiency in Troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issuesExperience with Optics and fiber-optic technologiesUnderstanding of Fibre installation and maintenance techniquesStrong attention to detail and the ability to work efficientlyValid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as requiredPrior field experience in fiber installations, specifically in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), is a plusRelevant technical certifications in fiber optics or telecommunications are desirable
