For a leader who wants both autonomy and influence, this is a rare chance to build, innovate, and leave a lasting mark.Job ResponsibilitiesLead NFP’s Private Equity Group’s Risk and Insurance Due Diligence practice, driving improvements in workflow, process efficiency, and deliverable qualityManage due diligence engagements of varying complexity across diverse industriesCollaborate internally with brokers, coverage specialists, producers, client service, and M&A teams to analyze findings and craft risk solutionsServe as a trusted advisor to private equity firms, target companies, and their representatives through daily external communicationProduce accurate, comprehensive, and professional due diligence reports for clientsEvaluate insurance programs, claims history, collateral arrangements, insurance-related financials, and insurance provisions within purchase agreementsIdentify and address transaction-related issues in coordination with other client advisorsPartner with producers to strengthen existing relationships and convert diligence projects into ongoing client engagementsArticulate and capture the value NFP delivers, even in complex or high-pressure situationsPrepare analyses, spreadsheets, proposals, and presentation materials for clients and prospectsTravel as needed to support client relationships and project executionRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong technical proficiency in Property & Casualty insurance, with broad knowledge across specialty lines including cyber, E&O, financial lines, environmental, group captives, and related coveragesSolid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and insurance-related financial analysisProven project management ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage deliverables within defined timeframesStrategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of drawing insightful conclusions from complex informationDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop team capabilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels and with clientsAbility to perform effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlinesMinimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably within private equity and/or M&A-related responsibilites. The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.NFP and You...
