DescriptionPosition: Warehouse ManagerOverview: Manages the Warehouse Operation to meet/exceed Suncoast and OSHA requirements.Specific Job ResponsibilitiesOversee night and day warehouse operationsProperly process all necessary computer work Assign workloads to staffEnsure proper inventory rotationEnsure that pallets are separated and stacked in quantities of28Verify ending inventories on returning trucks and ensure the Driver Reconciliation SOP is followed.Monitor and evaluate Warehouse employee's job performanceCommunicate daily with employees and Director of Warehouse Operations any work-related informationReport any work related or performance problems to Director of Warehouse Operations for determination of corrective actionAdhere to all OSHA safety rules and Company policiesEnsure all warehouse, dock areas and equipment are satisfactorily cleaned, and trash emptied at end of shiftEnsure forklifts are parked in the charging room & plugged into battery chargers,All damaged product is placed in proper location, all keys are removed from vehicles, all bays are shut down & locked, all doors are closed & locked, and facility is secured with alarm armedTrain new employees and cross-train established employeesEncourage and support teamwork by assisting with daily workloads, when time permits, or ifneededEnsure forklifts and equipment are maintained and information documented as Ensure proper code dates are being usedFacilitate needs of both Supervisors and SalesmenQualificationsPhysical ability and skills to complete all job tasks, including ability to continuously lift 40 lbs. and up to 162 lbs.Computer literacy to usejob related programsWillingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, not including break time.Complete all training for position including safety and OSHA trainingRead/ review Suncoast Beverage Sales' Policy ManualLift truck skills, tractor & trailer driving skillsStrong communication skills and attention to detailSupervise, train, counsel, discipline and hold accountable all night warehouse employees
