Urgently Hiring-Material Handler - Forklift (2nd Shift-2pm-10pm)

Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Forklift operator for 2nd Shift at our Arlington, TX facility!2nd Shift (2pm-10pm)Basic Functions & Specific DutiesComplete forklift pre-operational checklist at the start of shift.Stretch wrap palletsMaintain order to warehouse (straight rows and proper aisles)Inspect pallets or containers for damage or missing labelsPull, stage and load shipments as directed by supervisorScan loads and download scannerLoad finished goods, delivering to shipping and/or designated areasUnload trucksLoad components necessary for lineLower down WIP productCoordinate and pull trailers in and out of docksGeneral maintenance of tractor (refuel, check oil, keep up appearance of tractor)Complete dock hitch checklistWarehouse finished goods as instructed by supervisorInventory controlRotate stockMaintain returnable and palletsCommunicate with other shift supervisor concerning problemsAssure all shipments are 100% checkedDeliver dye to the presses and return to the cageMaintain the layout of the dye cageDeliver dryer to press – check dryer before delivery to ensure it is cleanReturn dryer – check dryer before returning.Monitor the bulk-dryer hoppers.Stock incoming dyeCoordinate P.O.U. stockingPrepare/Maintain accurate paperwork for shipments & receivablesMaintain efficiencyMeet TS16949 requirementsHousekeeping and other duties as assignedPerform work of equal or lower grade, as directed by supervision that will include training of inexperienced personnel.PPE RequirementsThis position requires eye protection and hearing protection and any PPE specific to the task being performed.Physical DemandsMust be able to stand on feet and/or sit 8-12 hours a day and lift up to 40lbs on an occasional basis and 15 lbs regularly.
